I'm Alex Long. While this is A Long Version, here's a little about me.

This little corner of the internet is my outlet for my thoughts as I fall back into the world of reading books. Here are some quick things to know about me:

Physical book or e-reader? Both!

Favorite genres? Romance, Adult Fiction

Best book-to-movie adaptation? Holes by Louis Sachar

Morning or Night reader? Also both! Nights during the week, mornings on the weekends

Favorite place to read? Home on my couch seems like the easy answer but for a more fun answer, I’ll say at the gate at the airport.

Do audiobooks count as reading? Yes and no. I listen to audiobooks if I’m struggling to get into a story and a case can be made that it’s not reading, it’s listening but hey, stories are told in tons of different ways. To each their own.

Bookmark or dog ear? Oh my god, bookmark! I couldn’t fathom bending pages like that.

Library or bookstore? Both serve important purposes. I rely more heavily on bookstores personally but libraries are incredible institutions, one of the last that allows you do to something for free. Protect libraries at all costs.

Stand alone or series? I lean more toward a series but lately have been really vibing with Duologies.
